Tony has been an ARC board member since September 2001. He is Managing Director of Marlon Insurance Company Ltd and joint general manager of Marlon's subsidiary, Marlon Management Services Ltd. Tony is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Tony has been in the market for over 30 years, spending his formative years working on the claims, IT and administration side of marine insurance business. His experience in run-off started in the early 1990s, helping to manage the change from live business to run off first with Bishopsgate Insurance Co and then Skandia Marine Insurance Co.
Responding to the emerging demand for skilled run-off management, Tony has been working in the sector for some 15 years, during which time he has helped to effect business transfers and solvent schemes of arrangement for various portfolios under Marlon's management.
