Mark Everiss

Mark joined the board in April 2007 and is a partner at Edwards, Angell, Palmer & Dodge LLP. He specialises in reinsurance litigation and has handled a number of significant disputes both in the High Court and in arbitration.

Whilst the majority of his clients are in run-off, Mark also represents clients in the live market. In the last two years, Mark has obtained a number of awards in arbitrations for various clients, including members of major underwriting pools. In particular, he has achieved two awards on two separate issues relating to recoverability of claims, which are of significant importance to the market but which have never been addressed by the courts.
