Darryl Ashbourne

Darryl Ashbourne joined the ARC board in September 2006 and is a Director of the Restructuring Insurance Solutions practice at KPMG.

Darryl specialises in insurance and has spent time in insurance audit, both in KPMG's UK insurance unit as well as in New York and Bermuda. Since 1991 he has concentrated on insurance insolvency and has been involved in a number of London market insolvencies, including English & American Insurance Company, Sovereign Marine & General and National Employers’ Mutual. While working in Bermuda, Darryl was also involved in corporate recovery work in the telecoms and biotech markets.
